We see patients on an appointment-only basis. This enables us to provide the best possible care for our patients by maximizing the time our doctors spend with each child and minimizing your time in the waiting room. For families with multiple patients, each patient must have a separate appointment. If you arrive without an appointment, you may have a long wait.

It is best to schedule non-essential appointments, such as well check-ups, sports/camp physicals, and parent consultations, at least two weeks in advance. Because summer and back-to-school are our busiest times for well visits, we are often booked more than a month in advance. During peak seasons, we recommend scheduling such appointments as early as possible. Please be aware that if you arrive more than fifteen minutes late for a well visit, we may have to reschedule the appointment.

There is no fee or penalty for canceling an appointment, but we do ask that you call to cancel as soon as possible. Although we would prefer to have advance notice, same-day cancellations are better than no-shows!

Your timeliness affects our ability to provide the best possible service for our patients. Therefore, our office has little tolerance for late cancellations and no-shows. If you are going to be late, please try to give us as much advance notice as possible. If you arrive more than fifteen minutes late for a well visit, we may have to reschedule the appointment. Three or more late arrivals and/or no-shows may result in dismissal from the practice at the physicians’ discretion. Please note that there will be a $25.00 charge for a regular missed appointment and $45.00 for appointments scheduled for parent consult, gyn exam, med rechecks, and cirumcisions.

Weekend appointments are available for emergencies and extremely ill patients only. Since we only see patients on an emergency basis on weekends, there is no pre-booking available. However, you must still have an appointment to be seen. On weekends we open and begin taking appointments at 8 am, and the office closes at 12 noon or after the last scheduled appointment (which ever comes first). On weekends, there will be a $35 convenience fee added to your visit.

Our office is closed on New Years Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. If you have an emergency on an office holiday, you may contact our answering service or visit the emergency room.

Our office is open for emergencies and extremely ill patients only on the following holidays: Good Friday, Battle of Flowers, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, & New Years Eve. Since we only see patients on an emergency basis on the above holidays, there is no pre-booking available. However, you must still have an appointment to be seen. On these holidays we open and begin taking appointments at 8 am, and the office closes at 12 noon or after the last scheduled appointment (which ever comes first). On holidays, there will be a $35 convenience fee added to your visit.
