Lanning D. Jones, M.D. FAAP

Dr. Lanning Jones is a board certified pediatrician and Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He received his undergraduate degree from Duke University in 1970 and his medical degree from Duke University Medical School in 1974.

After graduating from medical school, Dr. Jones moved to San Antonio for his pediatric residency at University Hospital and was chief resident during his third year.

Dr. Wilson Wayne Grant has been associated with Southwest Children’s Center since 1980. He is a graduate of Howard Payne University where he graduated with honors. His medical, pediatric and child development training was completed at the University of Texas Medical School in Galveston, Texas. For ten years, he practiced pediatrics and child development in El Paso, Texas where he served on the faculty of the Texas Tech School of Medicine.

Marshall J. Benbow, M.D. FAAP

Dr. Marshall Benbow is a board certified pediatrician who completed his formal education and has practiced general pediatrics exclusively at Southwest Children’s Center since 1981. His premedical education was completed at Texas A&M, class of 1976, Whoop!, medical education at UTMB Galveston in 1978, and pediatric residency at OU Health Science Center, Oklahoma City in 1981.

Dr. Rose Cofer is a board certified pediatrician working with Southwest Children’s Center since 1996. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas Women’s University with a BS in physical therapy.
